TRANSITION PROCESS
A smooth transition process is essential to the successful management of any building. What happens?
Important issues need to be identified and integrated into a highly functioning management system from the start. If not, problems will fester and eventually create complications. That's why Goldin Choice undertakes new account transitions with care and attention to detail.
At Goldin Choice we commence new account transitions with a rigorous evaluation process. Our proprietary Account Transition Checklist and Building Information Checklist outline a comprehensive one month procedure for assuming management of a new account.
During the one month transition process, we lead the transition while coordinating between the former managing agent, building staff and the new client. New clients may select different preferences and options for how we manage their account such as online access to bank statements, additional monthly financial information, late fee penalty options and more.
We proactively identify the status of certain major building systems in order to address life safety, liability and quality of life issues. Critical building systems (e.g. sprinklers) and building codes (e.g. Local Law 11 Façade Inspections) are too often ignored. We address these concerns early, before the solutions become onerous or prohibitive.
Within a month after commencing operations, we provide our new clients with a detailed information sheet displaying the working assumptions we learned during our transition process.
Upon the conclusion of our transition process, we know your building's systems and initiatives. Armed with this information, starting on day one, we manage building operations with our brand of professional integrity and personable services.
