APPLICATIONS

Purchasing, selling and subletting an apartment can be a stressful and difficult process.  We endeavor to make our part as simple and friendly as possible.

As part of the process for purchasing a cooperative or condominium you will be required to submit a formal application to the Board of Directors (Co-operatives) or Board of Managers (Condominiums) for review.  The Board will use this application as part of its approval process.  The importance of completing applications thoroughly and accurately cannot be overstated. Board's rely on this information to make decisions.

Overview for Cooperative Purchase or Sublet
After completing your application and submitting the appropriate fees by credit card or check, the process typically proceeds as follows:
-Our applications department will review your application and notify you of any omissions;
-Our applications department will perform a credit search on the applicant;
-Our applications department will submit the application to the Board admissions committee;
-The Board will review the application and make a decision on whether it has sufficient information for the interview, if so an interview will be scheduled;
-The Board will notify our applications department of its decision after the interview; and
- Our applications department will inform you of the Board's decision. 

Overview for Condominium Purchase or Sublet
After completing your application and submitting the appropriate fees by credit card or check, the process typically proceeds as follows:
-Our applications department will review your application and notify you of any omissions;
-Our applications department will perform a credit search on the applicant;
-Our applications department will submit the application to the Board admissions committee;
-If a sublet, the Board will review the application and make a decision on whether or not to approve the sublet;
-If a purchase, the Board will review the application and make a decision on whether or not to relinquish its first right of refusal; and
-The Board will notify our applications department of its decision; and
-Our applications department will inform you of the Board's decision. 

All email files must be in pdf format, and the completed application must be under 7 megabytes total. Completed applications may be sent to applications@goldinchoice.com.

We commence processing the application upon receipt of the fee.  Checks must be made payable to Goldin Choice. Credit card information should be provided either in person or over the phone. If you send your application by email, please make sure to follow up with with our Office Manager concerning payment of the applicable fees.
